What began in 2009 as the preparation for theBeut & Jelks Symposium has progressivelyevolved into ACME ACADEMY — Academy forContinuing Medical Education, an internationaleducational platform dedicated to advancedsurgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
Since its foundation, more than 1,000 physiciansfrom multiple specialties and countries haveparticipated in our programs, creating a dynamicinternational community focused on anatomicalknowledge, clinical precision, and innovation in aesthetic medicine and surgery.
The success of the academy is not only based onthe scientific content presented during theseintensive training sessions—drawn from peer-reviewed publications and extensive clinicalexperience—but also on the unique structure ofthe anatomical laboratory.
The laboratory is specifically designed to explore facial anatomical layers and spaces, enablingparticipants to understand and safely performboth surgical and non-surgical procedures. Through this approach, we emphasize a structured clinical reasoning process: WHY a condition occurs, WHEN it should be treated, WHAT product or technique should be selected, and
HOW the treatment should be performed withprecision and safety.
The current program is organized into threespecialized subject modules, allowing participants to focus on specific areas ofadvanced facial treatment and surgical anatomy.
ACME Academy operates under the academicsupervision of the Conselleria d’Educació de les Illes Balears and the Official College of Physicians of the Balearic Islands (COMIB), in collaborationwith Pablo de Olavide University (UPO), IMCAS Academy International and CYME Algeria. Participants are awarded academic credits uponcompletion of the program.
Beyond the academic experience, we hope participants will also have the opportunity toenjoy the unique environment of Mallorca, a Mediterranean island where science, culture, and hospitality meet.
